I met my husband during graduate school in one of my classes. I was a bit of cycling fanatic and loved watching the tour de france even before I met him. I noticed he had shaved legs like all the great cyclists and that was it.

I have been eating vegan for about 11-12 years. It really was an easy decision to make for me and one of the best ones I have ever made.

I started knitting and sewing for my dolls before I started school. I still have a few dolls with homemade clothes.

Before I had my son, I knew I wanted to use cloth diapers. I made his newborn and small diapers before he was born. I honestly love using cloth diapers and will be a bit sad when the little guy is fully potty trained.

I really love being home with my little guy. It is a tough job that has taught me flexibility and patience. It is still teaching me those things and I am sure I will never get it all right, but I wouldn't trade this time with him for anything.

I signed up for the local women's four miler race again this year. I am actually doing the training during the week this year which has helped a lot to keep up with the mileage. I actually dream a lot of running, but of course I am running a lot faster and lighter in my dreams.

One last note about myself. I used to write scary stories as a kid and I still love a good ghost story.
