Happy New Year & Whipped Body Butter Recipe

The new year is here and it is a good time to make resolutions and start new projects. So here I am writing another blog post after a very long time. These days I spend most of my time making and selling natural vegan cold process soap, shampoo bars, and other bath goodies in my Natural Violet Etsy Shop. To start the new year right with respect to natural skin care, I am making a wonderful body butter. My skin is really calling for something nourishing so this perfect. It is fairly cold in my area at the moment and body butters are essential for keeping your skin soft and healthy. This one is a combination of some of my favorite butters and oils including mango, cocoa, shea, babassu, and sunflower. I also add a little bit of arrowroot powder to make the whipped butter silky. Whipped butters are very easy to make and such a treat for your skin. Once you make your own you won't want to go back to the chemical laden purchased brands. That is my plug to use natural only products. Trust me! Your body will thank you. If you don’t want to make your own then look on Etsy for a natural one. There are ton out there, but of course read the ingredients. If your body butter is hot pink and smells like bubble gum then it isn’t natural even if the description says it is all natural. More on that later, but for now here is the whipped body butter recipe. Enjoy!
Whipped Body Butter
mango butter 4 oz
shea butter 2 oz
babassu oil 2 oz
